Information we collect

We collect personal information when you use our website, submit a Kit email form, or make a purchase through our Stripe checkout. This may include:

• Your name — for example when you complete a form or place an order.

• Your email address — when you request the bundle through our Kit form or purchase at checkout.

• Billing details — the billing name, address and purchase information you provide at Stripe checkout.

• Purchase information — what you bought, when, and how much you paid.

• Technical information — such as your browser type, device and pages visited, collected through cookies and analytics tools.

Why we collect your information

We use your information to:

• Process your payment and complete your order.

• Deliver your digital products by email.

• Respond to support requests and resolve access issues.

• Send you marketing communications you have signed up for, such as bundle updates and related resources.

• Understand how our website is used so we can improve it.

• Meet our legal, accounting and tax obligations.

Service providers we use

We share personal information with trusted service providers who help us run our business:

• Stripe — processes payments securely at checkout.

• Kit (formerly ConvertKit) — manages our email forms, subscriber list and email delivery.

• Zapier — connects our systems and automates delivery and notification workflows.

• Website hosting and analytics providers — keep our website running and help us understand site usage.

Each provider processes your information only as needed to provide its service to us and in accordance with its own privacy policy.

Payment processing

All payments are processed by Stripe. When you pay, your card details are entered directly into Stripe’s secure checkout.

We do not see, store or have access to your full payment-card information. Stripe provides us with the details needed to confirm your order — such as your name, email, billing details and the amount paid — but never your full card number.

Digital-product delivery

We use the email address you provide at checkout to deliver your access instructions for the SA Operator Essentials Bundle.

Delivery is handled automatically through our email and automation providers (Kit and Zapier). Please make sure your email address is entered correctly at checkout.

Marketing communications

If you submit your email address through one of our Kit forms, we may send you emails about the bundle and related HomeUnit Property resources and offers.

You can unsubscribe at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any marketing email, or by emailing info@homeunitgroup.co.uk. Unsubscribing will not affect emails essential to delivering a purchase you have already made.

Cookies and analytics

Our website may use cookies and similar technologies to keep the site working properly and to understand how visitors use it.

Analytics information is generally aggregated and does not directly identify you. You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings, though some site features may not work as expected without them.

Data retention

We keep your personal information only for as long as necessary:

• Order and billing records are retained as required for UK accounting and tax purposes (typically up to 6 years).

• Marketing subscriber information is kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it.

• Support correspondence is kept for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and any follow-up.

Data security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal information, including using reputable, access-controlled service providers and secure (HTTPS) connections.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and limit access to those who need it to operate our business.

Your data rights

Under UK data protection law, you have rights over your personal information, including the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you.

• Ask us to correct inaccurate information.

• Ask us to delete your information in certain circumstances.

• Object to or restrict certain processing, including direct marketing.

• Receive a copy of your information in a portable format in certain circumstances.

To exercise any of these rights, email info@homeunitgroup.co.uk. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) if you are unhappy with how we handle your data.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. The current version will always be available on this page, with the effective date shown above.
